Please be advised that two mid-week racemeetings are to be added to the Western Cape racing programme.

This follows the successful return to racing at Kenilworth Racecourse on Sunday, 8 February 2004 after a nine-week break as a result of the Equine Influenza outbreak in December 2003.   

Western Cape Trainers, Jockeys, Vets and Officials have given the assurance that all horses have fully recuperated from the Equine Flu.

A seven-race programme will now take place on Tuesday, 17 February and on Tuesday 24 February.
