Crimson Palace was a game winner of the Beverly D Stakes on Saturday at Arlington Park. It was the Elliodor filly’s seventh career win and her second for Godolphin. The race netted her a cool $450,000.

Ridden by Frankie Dettori, the filly accounted for millionaire Riskaverse by half a length, with European Group One winners Necklace and Musical Chimes in third and fourth respectively.

She was coming off a disappointing run at Royal Ascot when finishing unplaced behind subsequent Nassau Stakes winner Favourable Terms.

The four year old has now won in four countries, including the Paddock Stakes in South Africa and the Middleton Stakes in Britain.

The latter saw her defeat Beneventa - the filly who beat Soviet Song on her seasonal debut.
