Much travelled galloper DELTA FORM (1998
Easter $85,000), the Aussie bred former South African champ now
competing in the U.S.A, proved his last start upset win at Del Mar no
fluke by running home gamely for third in the Belmont Turf Classic Gr
1 in New York at the weekend.
Given little chance of figuring against a high
class field of turf runners, Delta Form surprised again with his effort
behind the winner Denon, who will head towards the Breeders' Cup Turf. |
