Last year's July winner, Greys Inn, has been given a 26-1 quote for the 2005 Melbourne Cup.

Amongst his possible opposition are Aussie classic winners Plastered and Dizelle (own sister to Vengeance of Rain), Goodwood Cup winner Distinction,Horse of the Year Makybe Diva and four time Irish St Leger hero Vinnie Roe.

Greys Inn, who has not run since his fast finishing second to Vengeance of Rain, is also being pointed to Australia's premier w-f-a race, the Cox Plate.
