INDIGO MAGIC TOPS TATTERSALLS

A son of outstanding sire Kingmambo and 1996 Epsom Oaks winner, Lady Carla topped day one of the prestigious Tattersalls Houghton Sale. The colt is a three parts brother to exciting new Cape based sire, Indigo Magic. The colt was purchased by John Magnier and cost a million guineas. 

Other highlights of day one include a King’s Best colt out of Irish Champion Stakes winner Park Express. The colt was purchased by John Warren for 775,000 and is a half brother to Dazzling Park and Shinko Forest. 

One of the last daughters of the great broodmare sire, Darshaan was bought by Shadwell for 600,000. The filly hails from the family of champions Anees, Ferdinand and Dark Lomond. 

Two sons of leading sire Machiavellian brought over 500,000. The son of Zibilene hails from the family of Barathea and leading sire, Desert Style. He fetched 525,000.

The colt out of Juddmonte International winner, One So Wonderful was bought by John Ferguson for 525,000.
