Brilliant mare, Ipi Tombe, has been ruled out of running again this year due to a recurring leg injury. She suffered the injury during a routine four furlong workout.

The injury, which also caused the daughter of Manshood to miss the Diana Handicap, has not gone down the way trainer Elliot Walden hoped it would.

Ipi Tombe is said to be kept in training for the moment and Walden is confident she will return as good as ever.

She will remain in light training. Ipi Tombe is now being aimed at a return at Gulfstream next year.

Ipi Tombe, who won her first start in the U.S., has won 12 of 14 and over $1.5 million.
