The recently retired, Ipi Tombe, will be mated to Storm Cat next year before being sold at the Keeneland November Sale. The five year old mare was retired following a training setback.  Ipi Tombe was named champion three year old filly in South Africa two years ago prior to her successes in Dubai and North America.

Storm Cat is currently the most expensive stallion in the world. He stands at $500 000 at Overbrook Farm in Kentucky. Twice leading sire in the USA, Storm Cat has been champion sire of juveniles five times. He is represented by three Group/Grade One winners this year in the brilliant One Cool Cat, French Oaks heroine Nebraska Tornado and Del Mar Oaks winner Dessert. He dominated the recent Keeneland November Breeding Sale when Cash Run topped the sale in foal to him at $7.1 million and Spain, also in foal to him, sold for $5 million. His weanling sold for $1.4 million at the same sale.
