One of the most charismatic horses of recent times, Attraction, has been retired.
The brilliant four-year-old filly, who won her first eight starts, was ruled out of Saturday's Sun Chariot Stakes-a race she won last year- due to an injury which has been described as a niggly problem.

The first filly to win both the English and Irish 1000 Guineas (Gp1), Attraction won her last start-the Matron Stakes (Gp1).
She won ten of 15 starts. Mating plans have not been announced.

Attraction was as well known for her front legs as her blazing speed which allowed to run her rivals off their feet. Disappointing in her first two starts this year, her win in the Matron Stakes was her fifth at group one.

A champion at two, Attraction suffered her first defeat at the hands of outstanding filly Soviet Song in the Falmouth Stakes (Gp1).
She is a daughter of Efisio out of a Pursuit of Love, Flirtation.
