VARIETY CLUB CHARITY RACE AT DUNSTALL PARK

15 September 2005

The Variety Club of Great Britain is to hold a fun mascot race as
part of a fund raising drive at the evening race meeting at Wolverhampton
on Saturday, September 17.

Local fund raisers Justin Hinton, Louise and Stella Caudwell,
Michelle Sian Whitehouse, James Beaumont and Andy Pearce will don Emu, Cow,
Horse and Rabbit costumes for a fun race down the finishing straight of the
track. Ladbrokes will be taking bets on the race, and punters will be able
to study the 'form' in the racecard.

Companies supporting the event through race sponsorship and
corporate hospitality include Black Country Chamber of Commerce, Hollybush
Garden Centre, Chapel Ash Harley-Davidson, Tile Choice, Britannia Services
Group Ltd., and Alan Bennett Butchers.

Variety Club representative Kay Hinton said: "It should be an
amazing evening. We aim to raise as much money as possible for disabled and
disadvantaged children in the area, and we have a superb raffle prize of a
trip to Dubai on offer. Please come along and help us raise money for a
worthy cause".

Following the racing, the entertainment continues for restaurant
diners with superb live band Rang-a-Tang plus disco until midnight.

There is still availability for restaurant diners to enjoy this fun
filled evening, and you may even recognise a few celebrities.
