CHARM TO ORIENTATE

Former South African Champion, Harry’s Charm, is one of the first mares to be covered by Eclipse Champion Sprinter, Orientate.

Harry’s Charm has been at stud in Australia since retiring.

Formerly trained by Michael Azzie, Harry’s Charm was sensational at two, when her wins included impressive scores in the Grade 1 SA Nursery (against colts) and the Grade 1 Allan Robertson Futurity. Her sole loss at two came in the Smirnoff when outdone by Gold Flier.

She trained on at three when winning the Grade 1 Mondi Sprint, a win she repeated the following year. Harry’s Charm also won the SA Fillies Sprint.

She was sent to Australia after losing her form. She produced a colt by Timber Country and a filly by Grand Lodge. Her current family has been in the news via the talented pair of Enchantress and Trace. Michael Azzie is now training her exciting relative National Currency.

Orientate will be her first mate in the USA.

Orientate is standing his first year this year at Gainesway. Winner of the Breeders Cup Sprint, the son of Mt Livermore (also standing at Gainesway) also won the Grade 1 Forego Handicap.
