Keeneland's massive November Sale starts next week - on the 5th of November. The sale lasts for two weeks.

A mid a huge number of outstanding breeding prospects is the former SA champion Warning Zone. In foal to outstanding sire Rahy, she comes up for sale in the first book. Other notable mares to sell early on include Breeders Cup Distaff victress Adoration (in foal to Smart Strike), Parade Leader's half sister Battle Hymn (in foal to Seeking The Gold), Gr1 winner Buy the Sport (in foal to Unbridled's Song), Gr1 producer Grannies Feather (in foal to Bernardini), Acorn victress Island Sand (in foal to A P Indy), champion racemare Meghahertz (in foal to Bernardini), Wilko's dam Native Roots (in foal to Awesome Again), and Gr1 winner Singahlese (in foal to Rahy). Interestingly enough the latter is a daughter of Singspiel - himself a half-brother to Rahy!
Top-class fillies who sell as racing or breeding prospects include Kentucky Oaks winner Lemons Forever, Breeders Cup contenders Baroness Thatcher and Oprah Winney, and multiple Gr1 winner Bushfire.
There also a number of superbly bred weanlings on offer. Arguably the most interesting is the half brother to Curlin. The colt is from the only crop of deceased Horse of the Year Saint Liam.

Sires who have their first mares in foal up for sale include Bernardini, Henny Hughes, First Samurai and Aragorn.

A feature of the sale is the dispersal of the late Robert Sanger's breeding stock. The dispersal includes former star filly Play Act and millionaire Sand Springs. The latter is in foal to world leading sire Kingmambo.
