On course for the J&B Met.
Argentinian 4-y-o PABLO ZETA came back fresh and full of fire after a
6 month lay-off with an eye-catching 10 lb beating the smart
4-y-o Von Cleef (received 6 half-kilo - Beaten 1,25 lengths) in a
B division 1400m at Turffontein (2 October).
Anton Marcus subjected him to a firm ride, but he will have needed the
race, and can only improve.
At present he receives no penalties for the J&B Met, and it is to be
expected that Geoff Woodruff will plot a gradual course to the big moment
without allowing this advantage to slip away.
Our long-range tip for Cape Town's big one in 2000.
