He debuted at Randwick with last
stride win over subsequent winner Terracotta Bay and then was just
over a length from Exceed And Excel in the G2 Todman Stakes
(1200m) last Saturday coming from second last on the turn in a
small field.
Trained by David Payne, Red Hot Pepper
is a rapidly improving type who could easily measure up to races
like the AJC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m).
