Young Summerhill sire, Requiem, was given a boost when his ¾ sister Cayambe landed Saturday's Sandown Guineas (Gp2).
Both Cayambe and Requiem are by Danehill, and Cayambe is out of a daughter of Les Lilas-the dam of Requiem.
Requiem, who ran second to Melbourne Cup winner Media Puzzle, also hails from the family of successful sire Grosvenor outstanding broodmare Shadea.
The latter is dam of multiple Gp1 winners Lonhro and Niello. Requiem, whose biggest win came in the SAAB Quality Hcp (Gp2), stands for R10, 000.
