The recent VRC Oaks was won by Hollow Bullet. A head back in second was Kylikwong, a daughter of Red Ransom and former SA star Tracy's Element.

Tracy's Element was one of the fastest fillies seen in South Africa. She won 11 of her 19 starts including five group one races. Brilliant at two, she was named ARCSA champion two year old filly following an impressive win against the colts in what was then the Smirnoff Plate.

She went onto win back to back Star Sprints, the Computaform Sprint and won her penultimate start, the SA Fillies Sprint, by daylight. Trained by Ormond Ferraris for the Hintons, she was a daughter of champion Last Tycoon.

Another former grade one winner, Sydney's Dream is also represented by a high class three year by Red Ransom. Her son Charge Forward was second in last year's Golden Slipper to Triple Crown hero, Dance Hero. He subsequently won the AJC San Domenico Stakes over the high class Fastnet Rock and Dance Hero.

Sydney's Dream was unbeaten in three starts as a two year old. The highlight of her career was a head defeat of champion Dancing Danzig in the Allan Robertson Futurity. The daughter of Bletchingly is also the dam of the useful Sydney's Joy.
