Upon recommendation of the State Veterinary Authorities, Gold
Circle regrets to announce the cancellation of Saturday's Racemeeting
at Kenilworth Racecourse (14 April 2007).
The situation in the Western Cape is being closely monitored
and a decision regarding Tuesday's Racemeeting will be advised
as soon as test results are received from the Onderstepoort
Veterinary Institute.
Gold Circle is currently in negotiations with the State Veterinary
Authorities to establish procedures which will not disrupt the
racing programme for an extended period of time.
