Alec Laird will train for Sheik Rashid during the up-coming Dubai festival. Laird take over the Millennium Stables for the next three months.

The Sheik has a number of exciting prospects, arguably none more so than the top-class Henny Hughes.

The Hennessy colt, a nominee for champion two-year-old colt in the US, has not raced since running second in the Breeders Cup Juvenile to Stevie Wonderboy. He was bought to Dubai to prep for the UAE- and ultimately the Kentucky Derby.

Other well known horses include former SA stars Rock Opera, Grand Emporium, Yard-Arm, Fez and the evergreen Trademark.

Laird will also train the likes of high class stakes winners Little Jim, Hazyview, Stream of Gold and last season's smart colt, Parole Board.
