For
some time now mid-week racing in KwaZulu-Natal has taken place on a
Wednesday. With effect from Tuesday, 7 September, some mid-week
night racemeetings in KwaZulu-Natal will take place on a Tuesday.
From
then for a nine month “season” up to the middle of May
2005, racing will take place in KwaZulu-Natal on eight
occasions where
Newmarket
does not race on a Tuesday night.
This
has been done in order to provide a South African racing product
into the
United States of America
. South African racing is currently broadcast into several other
countries and this will further the endeavour to promote South
African racing worldwide.
