Xtra Heat was at her best at three winning the Grade 1 Prioress Stakes and finishing a close second in the Test Stakes and Breeders' Cup Sprint, where she, defeating many of the best sprinters around like the champions Kona Gold and English star Mozart.

At four she won graded stakes races and finished a gallant third to Caller One in the Golden Sheehen.

Xtra Heat won 26 of 35 races and was unplaced just twice. The mare is said to go back into training if she does not get in foal.
