Kentucky Downs next for Beach Bomb

03 Sep 2025 10:49

South African star Beach Bomb is one of 11 runners entered for the G3 Light & Wonder Ladies Marathon Invitational Stakes, to be run at Kentucky Downs this Saturday.
The Graham Motion trained daughter of Lancaster Bomber is set to get the services of Luis Saez for Saturday’s race, with the pair drawn at three.

Winner of both the G1 World Sports Betting Cape Fillies Guineas and G1 Cartier Paddock Stakes in South Africa, Beach Bomb showed excellent form earlier this year when she finished first or second in four graded stakes.
She will be bidding to get back to that form on Saturday, with Beach Bomb having finished a disappointing fifth in the G2 Beverly D Stakes last time out.
