Frosted’s two-year-old daughter Inject became the first winner for her freshman sire and earned TDN Rising Star status with a very impressive debut victory at Ellis Park on Saturday, August 15th.

Sent off at 7-1, the $390,000 Keeneland September yearling broke alertly under jockey Julien Leparoux.  She sat in second behind Quick Munny before cruising to the lead at the top of the stretch and pulling away to win easily by six lengths in a quick final time of :57.67 for the five furlongs.

A son of multiple champion US sire Tapit, the Darley based Frosted won six races, and earned over $3.972 million.

His victories included triumphs in the G1 Wood Memorial, G1 Whitney Stakes as well as an unforgettable 14 length romp in the 2016 G1 Metropolitan Handicap at Belmont Park.

The grey was produced by the G2 winning Deputy Minister mare Fast Cookie
