CITY OF TROY NAMED HORSE OF THE YEAR

21 Nov 2024 10:36

Derby winner City Of Troy has been named horse of the year at the Cartier Racing Awards in London.

The son of US Triple Crown victor Justify also added Sandown’s Coral-Eclipse and the Juddmonte International at York to his Epsom triumph.

His stablemate Kyprios was named leading stayer at the 34th annual awards after claiming seven victories from seven races in 2024, having missed much of last year with a serious leg injury.
